Hunting trip

Jake took me out for my first hunting trip a couple of weeks ago up at Flaming Gorge. It was actually a lot of fun! We didn't see anything so Jake wasnt able to shoot anything so that was kind of a bummer but I still think it was worth the trip! We didn't take very many pictures but here are a few of the boat.

Engagement story!

Well first off, my fiancé is the best there is, and I love him so much!!

Here is the story of how he proposed

Jake told me that he had a surprise for me a couple of days before. Jake is always coming up with cute little dates to surprise me with and so I thought that he had something cute planned but I had no idea he was planning on proposing. He picked me up on a Thursday night to go on our surprise date. while we were driving he asked if it was ok if we made a quick stop to the little airport in Riverdale because he had to talk to his mechanic about his airboat. I believed it and said that it was totally fine. We got there and I didn’t think too much of it at first. After we walked out back and saw his mechanic sitting in one of his little planes. After we talked to the guy for a minute he said to me “So I hear you want to learn how to fly a plane!” It totally caught me off guard but I was SO excited! Jakes mechanic is also a pilot and has his own plane and he was going to give me flying lessons. So, we all got in the plane and I got to sit in the pilot seat, which was way awesome, Jake was in the back and our instructor was next to me in the co pilot seat. I got to start the plane, help take off, talk to the tower and even fly it. It really was such a neat experience. The best part about it though, of course, was when Jake asked me to marry him. After about 30 minutes or so of flying Jake asked our instructor if he could talk to me for a minute. So I turned around and he told me that he was doing this all for me because he loves me so much then he said that he needed a “queen for his castle” which I thought was so cute! Right after he said that he pulled out the ring and asked “will you marry me?” I of course said yes and was so happy and excited. Our instructor announced it to the towers and the other planes. It was really the best feeling in the entire world and I can’t WAIT to be married to him for the rest of our lives and all eternity. :) :) :)

King Salmon Trip

Me and Dad just went up to the columbia river in oregon salmon fishing. Took us 12 hours to catch salmon for the four of us. We had a great time on friday fishing then we headed down the coast to a little town called Geribaldy for a awesome rock fishing trip. Then we headed all the way up the coast from there to Olympia, WA where my wonderful sister and her husband live:) HAILEE HONEY I'LL BE HOME SOON:)

Visit to Washington

I'm visiting my sister who lives in Washington and here is my cute little niece - Brightyn. She is only 5 months old. She is so adorable!!
